 This is the Kozy Shack® story line with one minor twist: instead of a girl, it’s a pudding that steals our hero’s heart.
Back in the late 1960s-- that time of remarkable social change-- an energetic young man was working hard to make ends meet delivering products to corner stores and delis in New York.
 Among his delivery customers was a deli called Cozy Shack. You couldn’t miss the wonderful aroma of rice pudding being made for Cozy customers. One day during a delivery, he got a taste of the pudding cooking gently on the stove.
It was love at first taste. Head over heels, he knew this was one very special pudding. So he hatched an idea: he would begin taking a few aluminum containers full of pudding with him on his deliveries to see if others would go for it.
 “Go ahead, taste my pudding”, he would challenge customers. They would taste it, and they would order it. Soon, he was selling more pudding than his other delivery items. It was clear that the pudding deserved his full attention. But how could he acquire the business on a deliveryman’s salary?
 After hitting up friends and relatives to supplement his savings, he finally had enough to buy the deli’s pudding operation-- recipes, pots and all. As the proud new owner he changed the name from Cozy with a C to Kozy with a K.
Word-of-mouth about the taste of Kozy Shack® spread and the company grew, ever faithful to the original sweet simplicity of it all-- the wholesome ingredients and slow, deliberate cooking. True love is sweet.
